About the Owner
During 15 years of leading teams in both the Sales and Hospitality industries, I realized a simple, undeniable truth - One of the most important decisions an organization makes is who they hire or promote into a management position.
But what makes someone good at managing others? What qualities do all the great managers in their respective fields possess? And most importantly, what effect do these characteristics have on motivating employees to follow their leaders’ mission and directives? The answers are simple.
Scott is a Toronto native and a graduate of the University of Ottawa. At 18 he was appointed the youngest acting manager of his local restaurant and began a personal quest to discover what makes a great leader and teacher. Over his career, he has coached numerous employees and now devotes his time to building universal training programs applicable to sales, leadership, and youth development, in addition to consulting for various small and medium enterprises. He is a proud member of the Big Brothers and Sisters of Canada and adores his two Goddaughters.
